PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Project’s three components are (i) drainage, (ii) wastewater management and sanitation, and (iii) capacity building.
Project outputs include (i) improved floodways; (ii) rehabilitated existing drains; (iii) installation of water gauges for flood monitoring; (iv) design, construction, and operation of a wastewater collection and treatment system; (v) utility-managed individual sanitation systems; and (vi) strengthened institutions and legislative frameworks for wastewater management, drainage, urban management, and environmental monitoring.
PROJECT SERVICES:
Overall Project management:
Develop comprehensive project implementation and monitoring plans.
Prepare a project performance monitoring system (STET).
Establish document control and contract management systems.
Review and assess project designs, drawings, and the bidding documents.
Develop bidding procedures based on Asian Development Bank (ADB) Guidelines on Procurement.
Develop reporting procedures and reporting to ADB.
Provide training and on-the-job guidance on project management.
Deliver project community awareness program in coordination with overall community awareness capacity building.
