PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The 8th Pacific Water Conference and Expo was hosted by the Pacific Water and Wastes Association in partnership with our co-hosts from Papua New Guinea, EDA RANU and Water PNG, theme being ‘Sustainable Water Development in the Pacific’. This conference also coincided with PWWA’s inaugural Ministerial Forum that revealed one of the most far-reaching communiqués on water issues in the Pacific. Government Ministers from Pacific Island countries committed to an agenda designed to significantly strengthen Pacific Water and Waste Water’s (PWWA) role in the Pacific “that will lead to stronger regional water outcomes” according to the communiqué.
